Andrew is the President of Bionym, makers of the Nymi - the heartwave sensing wristband used for seamless authentication. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of go-to-market including platform, business development, marketing and fundraising.
Prior to joining Bionym, Andrew was the Chief Operating Officer of Toronto-based Top Hat, the leading mobile learning platform for the classroom. In his 2 years with the company, Andrew led the efforts to raise over $10M in financing, opened offices in San Francisco and Chicago, grew the organization to 80 employees, and secured strategic partnerships with the world's largest education companies.
Prior to joining Top Hat, Andrew led the sales, marketing and business development efforts of Andreessen-Horowitz-backed Top Prospect - a referral-based social recruitment startup based in San Francisco. Andrew began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company’s media practice and studied Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo.
