Divesh Sisodraker

Divesh Sisodraker is a Partner of Vanedge Capital. He is currently transitioning from his role as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of coincidenceLabs, an early stage company that provides consumer brands with social customer relationship management (CRM) technologies. Prior to coincidenceLabs, Divesh was Executive Vice President and CFO at San Francisco based Taleo Corporation. Taleo’s recruiting software products are used by more than 3.1 million users across 4,400 organizations in 200 countries and territories in 30 languages. During his tenure, Divesh had led Taleo to the second largest software initial public offering (IPO) on the NASDAQ in 2005.

Prior to joining Taleo, Divesh served five years with Pivotal Corporation, a leader in mid-market CRM software. While CEO, he led over 400 employees to make Pivotal the largest and fastest growing division of CDC Software. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Divesh served as the company’s CFO where he orchestrated the sales process that led to Pivotal’s acquisition by CDC Software, one of the world’s largest enterprise software companies. Prior to his CFO responsibilities, he was Vice President (VP), Corporate Development, responsible for acquisitions and major partnerships.

Prior to his roles at Pivotal, Divesh’s experiences include heading finance at ALI Technologies (ALI), an early leader in the development of digital information systems for multi-modal PACS (picture archiving and communications systems) for radiology departments. ALI was acquired by leading healthcare IT provider McKesson in one of the largest global software acquisitions of 2002.

Divesh currently serves on the Board and Governance Committee of Bridgewater Systems, a publicly listed company which makes software to enable carriers to offer mobile personalization and policy management to their subscribers. He previously served on the boards of four other public companies: Pivotal Corporation, BasicGov Systems (a pioneer in cloud based computing solutions for local governments), Chalk Media (makers of multimedia software for Blackberry devices – sold to Research in Motion in 2009), and Carmanah Technologies (a cleantech company that manufactures solar powered LED lighting for industrial applications).

Divesh started his career at KPMG and later moved into the investment banking arm of HSBC Securities. He is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (Honours) from Simon Fraser University.
