Elise Moreau

Elise is a Toronto-based writer focused on writing about technology, media, marketing while also dabbling in a bit of web marketing consulting for small businesses that want to expand their web presence.

Graduated from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in 2009, Elise shared a strong interest in business and information technology at an early age. During the height of the recession, she was lucky to grab a job with a webhosting company as an accounting representative. At the same time, she slowly began teaching herself how to build her own websites with Dreamweaver, Photoshop and WordPress before experiencing firsthand how marketing is actually done on the web.

A true information and gadget enthusiast, today you can find Elise writing about social media, mobile apps, funny Internet memes, popular websites and budding tech startups as she covers the entire Web Trends section on About.com.
