Tom Turnbull is VP of Business Development at SplashCast Media, a Portland, Oregon based startup focused on creating more interative online video experiences. Previously, he headed up business development for Internet Brands, Inc (NASDAQ: INET). At IBI, Tom negotiated and implemented a wide range of partnerships related to IBI’s CarsDirect.com website with companies such as Yahoo! and MSN.
Tom also headed up new business development for the new media group at the Los Angeles Times and was the 10th employee at BizBuyer.com, a start-up company that grew to 250 employees during the Web 1.0 days. He was also a Consulting Manager at Andersen Worldwide and an associate attorney at a Northwest based law firm. Mr. Turnbull holds an M.B.A. from New York University, and a J.D. from the University of Washington.
