19-year-old Vancouver entrepreneur snags $300k in angel funding for his startup, Kiip

brian wongVancouver-born teentrepreneur Brian Wong has just sealed $300,000 in an angel funding round for his mobile gaming ad startup Kiip.

Brian received investments from True Ventures, SimpleGeo CTO Joe Stump, Vitamin Water's Rohan Oza, and more.

As well, Kiip is hiring ex-Digg staff Courtney Guertin as co-founder and CTO, plus Amadeus Demarzi as design director. 

Brian will use the funding for hiring and distribution partnerships. Kiip will roll out in alpha in a few months, launching publicly in early next year.
