The results are in! After many a startup sweated bullets and pitched to a series of angel investors yesterday at the 25th Angel Forum at the downtown SFU campus in Vancouver, the winners of the Investor Choice Awards (as chosen by the investors) have been announced.
The TSX Venture Exchange award for Best Presentation went to Envia Solarmotion, for their innovative electric vehicle upgrading program for corporate and municipal fleets.
Light Based Technology got the Best Company to Be Acquired award from BDC Venture Capital, and Pricewaterhouse Coopers gave the Best Pre-Revenue Company award to Light Integra. CloudBench earned the Best Revenue Company award from Fasken Martineau, and the Most Promising Company to go Public Award went to Urban Dispatch.
