Looking for investors?

The Angel Forum is calling for company applications to present and exhibit to pre-screened private equity investors at the 25th Angel Forum on May 26th in Vancouver. Seventy investors registered for last November's Angel Forum and two companies have been funded since then.

angelforumAngel Forum organizers surveyed over eighty investors in last month in a survey titled Outlook for Private Investing in 2009 and the results were promising:

  • 78% said they would invest in the right new company in next 3 months and 30% would invest more than $150k
  • 45% said Q2 of 2009 is the best time to invest and only 19% said they would only invest after Q1 of 2010
  • 55% prefer companies with some sales < $1 million and 38% would consider pre-revenue companies
  • Valuation of Pre-Revenue companies must be less than $1 million and < 3x trailing revenue for revenue companies.

Final deadline to register is May 9th but don't delay as the earlier your registration, the lower the cost. On top of that, company selection closes when they reach capacity - last November, over 60 companies applied for the 30 time slots.
