79% of BlackBerry Users Want Instagram

After experiencing tremendous success as an iOS app for many months, photo editing and sharing tool Instragam finally made its way to Android this week. The Android app is exploding off the charts with one million new users in just 24 hours.

Now, BlackBerry users want to feel some love from Instragram. A recent CrackBerry poll found that 79% of BlackBerry users want instagram, with only 18% saying they "dont care" and 3% saying there are already enough photo sharing apps.

Given how long it took for Android to get the app, users of Waterloo-based RIM's mobile platform may be waiting a while. These types of apps rarely make it to the BlackBerry OS due to the stigma of older business people exclusively using the device. But perhaps are heavyweight like Instagram would help clear the air.
