Five months in the making, Carleton University in Ottawa has launched a mobile app dedicated to its students.

The app will let students check their grades and class schedules on the smartphone, plus navigate the campus with a mobile map.

“We wanted to give students information at their fingertips,” said Suzanne Blanchard, Associate Vice-President of Students and Enrolmentnand University Registrar. “By giving them a personalized app, Carleton Mobile helps students manage their day-to-day university experience and offers them another way to stay connected.”

The app was crafted by College Mobile and is availble on iOS and Android devices.
