Adobe's Photoshop companion apps for iPad may be renewal of a strained relationship

The relationship between Apple and Adobe has been strained ever since Apple denied Flash compatibility on the iPad. But Adobe has looked past this and announced three forthcoming companion apps to Adobe's legendary Photoshop software designed specifically for the iPad.

These three apps are the Adobe Eazel, with which you can use your fingertips to paint, then send your artwork directly to Photoshop CS5 from any location (where you have internet); Adobe Nav, with which you can customize the Photoshop CS5 toolbar on the iPad to access tools; and Adobe Color Lava, with which you can use your fingertips to mix colors and create custom swatches and five-swatch themes.

This doesn't necessarily mean the two companies can reach an agreement on an iPad with flash compatibility, but at least it shows they're willing to work together.
