AdParlor targets Social Media App Developers

Posted by Rob Lewis on Thu, February 26, 2009 10:42 AM · Filed under Toronto , Social Media · Comments

Since launching early last year, Toronto-based AdParlor has been focused on building its banner ad network and virtual currency monetization platform for social networking sites. To date they have been incredibly successful and helped drive over 250,000 Facebook application installs.

Today, they announced that they've expanded their currency monetization compenent to target social media application developers. The expanded platform will provide developers with the capability to offer users fast and easy ways to earn virtual currency within their applications.

AdParlor’s system allows developers to make money by letting their users earn virtual currency by participating in CPA-based offers - like filling out a survey or signing up for a trial subscription. When a user participates in the offer, they get virtual currency - and the developer gets paid.
