Aeryon Labs Uses Drones to Help Response Teams Focus Efforts Following Earthquake

Aeryon Labs is helping response teams focus their efforts in the right areas following a powerful earthquake in Ecuador.

The 7.8-magnitude disaster has caused a death toll of more than 600 so far, including six Canadians. The Waterloo-based Aeryon is contributing its part to minimizing any further damage.

The Canadian company has drones which map areas affected by the quake, capturing aerial data to aid local responders.

Roughly 7,000 buildings were destroyed by the earthquake.
