Got money? Then you've probably got an iPhone or BlackBerry.

According to a new survey conducted by Prosper Mobile Insights, which interviewed 25,000 respondents, RIM's pioneering roster of mobile gadgets is the most common smartphone among folks with incomes in excess of $150,000. The second most common smartphone in that category is the iPhone.

Among people in the income range of $100,000 to $150,000, BlackBerrys and iPhones again fill out the top two. Apple's mobile device led the pack among those earning between $75,000 and $100,000.

Those with incomes starting at $15,000 prefer Android phones.

BlackBerry users were the most likely to be a business owner or manager and the least likely to be a homemaker. iPhone users fell in the middle while Android users were the least likely to be business owners or managers and the most likely to be a homemaker.

85% of iPhone users download apps while just 60% of BlackBerry users download apps.
