Amazing opportunity for the right person at the VEF

Posted by Rob Lewis

If you're looking to connect with the movers and shakers in the Vancouver Technology space, check out the part-time opportunity at the Vancouver Enterprise Forum. The VEF is looking for a Manager of Operations to manage VEF events and oversee day-to-day operations. It's a 1/2 time position reports directly to the Chairman of the VEF and promises frequent interaction with the entire board of directors.

The Vancouver Enterprise Forum (VEF) is the premier networking forum for technology entrepreneurs. The VEF holds eight events each year - usually on the fourth Tuesday of the month. These events provide attendees with an opportunity to network and learn. The evening involves a feature presenter covering topics especially relevant to technology entrepreneurs such as financing and CEO war stories. Networking sessions are included before and after the presentation for speakers and attendees to connect with each other. As a not-for-profit B.C. Society, VEF is supported by its sponsors, members, volunteers, and by all attendees at VEF events.

If you have event management experience and great communications skills, this is a unique opportunity to build relationships with tech entrepreneurs while still dedicating half your time to your own projects.
