Annual event Metabridge tickets now for sale

The Okanagan Science & Technology Council is hosting the Metabridge initiative, which brings industry leaders from the United States  and the United Kingdom to the Okanagan.

This is the second annual metabridge event in British Columbia and will have 20 technology VIP's in attendance this year. Some of the companies participating this year are Afina, RedBeacon,, Trend Micro, Bit Defender, and Divvyshot (acquired by Facebook).

Metabridge will be held on June 10th and 11th. There are three tiers of ticket "packages" available:

  • Option 1, "Tech talk unplugged," which is free but includes access to only one presentation.
  • Option 2, "Dinner and Networking," which costs $100 but also grants access to a special networking dinner.
  • or Option 3, "Ultimate 2-day package," which costs $500 but also grants access to a VIP welcome reception at a winery, a VIP golf session at the Okanagan Golf Club, and a chance to pitch your business to metabridge VIPs over breakfast.

The metabridge initiative has been created with the intention to provide direct connection and access to key technology players in the Bay Area for emerging B.C. high-tech companies seeking investment, joint partnerships, mentorship and advisory opportunities. Company leaders like Hewlett Packard, Mitel, Red Beacon, AVG Antivirus, Trend Micro, RIM and Radware have attended previous metabridge events seeking opportunities and connecting with B.C. technology startup companies.
