App Store Apps Have Been Downloaded 60 Billion Times, Earning Developers $13 Billion

At Apple's iPad-centric keynote announcement in San Francisco yesterday, the company revealed several cool statistics surrounding its products and services.

Tim Cook, chief executive officer of the world's most valuable technology company, says that an impressive 20 million iTunes Radio users listened to more than a billion songs—that's in just one month and in the US alone.

Cook also noted that the App Store catalog now boasts an incredible one million apps. These apps have been downloaded a staggering 60 billion times. And as a result, third-party developers have earned a remarkable $13 billion.
