Apple is opening its next Canadian retail store in Waterloo; now hiring

Hey, isn't that RIM territory?

Potentially stepping on the toes of Waterloo-based BlackBerry maker Research in Motion, whether deliberate or not, is Apple, who's next Canadian retail store is opening in Waterloo. It will be inside the Conestoga Mall, where construction has already begun.

Apple's online job site has listed employment opportunities for this locale. This is the first Apple retail store not in a major urban area like Vancouver or Toronto.

The store does not have an official launch date.
