Apple is Planning to Open a Retail Store in London, Ontario in 2012
It looks like Apple's next Canadian retail store will land in Ontario. According to ifoAppleStore, the company is looking to launch in Masonville Place, a major shopping centre in London, two hours outside of Toronto.
Apple's store will allegedly take over an upper-level space currently being vacated by the now-bankrupt Eddie Bauer. One of the larger spaces in the mall, Apple's new store will boast a 73-foot storefront and more than 6,100 square feet. It sits beside a 9,700-square Gap outfit.
No specific date has been confirmed, but it is believed that the store will open in the fall of 2012. Apple currently has 22 stores in Canada.
