Apple's online store is down in every country. Will the iPhone 5 appear when it's back up?

Apple's online store has shut down, not just in Canada, but in America and everywhere else too.

MacRumors noted yesterday some funky changes to shipping estimates in Europe and North American Apple Stores for numerous products, new and old. Within the same day, the estimates were reverted back to their original numbers. (May or may not be related.)

Everyone is expecting the iPhone 5 either at the end of this month or during the first week of October, so an iPhone 5 on the storefront when it's back up seems too early and is missing the pre-hype announcement for those who like waiting a week outside in a lineup.

It could be an online announcement with a release date though—certainly within the realm of possibility. Or, of course, the site could just be down for the sake of being down.
