Art Director Crowdsources 850 Instagram Photos to Create Stop-motion Short Film

Instagram is infamous for certain cliché shots: your feet, the wing of an airplane (doesn't anyone take pictures from good airplane seats?), and tourist attractions in major cities.

French art director Thomas Jullien embraced these highly repetitive photographs and forged from the chaos a rather entertaining stop-motion short film. Crowdsourcing more than 850 user-uploaded photos, Jullien takes us around the world in two minutes and actually manages to make Instagram-addicted artistic wannabes look, well, artistic.
