Following the initial launch of the campaign, Browse with Confidence, Microsoft's campaign for internet safety and security, has created a YouTube channel.

According to a recent report by Statistics Canada, Canadian’s internet use has increased by more than 70 percent since 2007. With nearly 22 million people now online across Canada, Microsoft Canada believes it’s more important than ever that people learn how to best protect their personal information. Because it’s beyond just privacy concerns on social media sites—it’s also about protecting data from criminals hunting for access to it and stealing your identity.

As Internet Explorer 8’s Browse with Confidence campaign continues to gain momentum, Microsoft Canada wants to get people thinking about their online security. When it comes to the internet, you can never be too safe.
