Banff hosts Infrastructure Summit and Venture Forum next week

One more week until a couple of cool events get under way in Banff, Alberta.

Cybera's Summit 2010 event promises to captivate, provoke, and inspire. The two-day summit will draw an audience of trailblazers and enthusiasts who work with or are interested in emerging technologies and cutting-edge research in a variety of areas, including cloud computing, advanced networks, energy, and the environment. 

The Summit takes place September 21st and 22nd at The Banff Centre and will draw approximately 200 delegates from across Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, and bordering states.

The 2010 Banff Venture Forum marks the 12th anniversary of Canada’s premier company financing event.  The Forum is designed to showcase the hottest high-tech companies from across North America, offer insight into key issues within the industry, provide a premium networking opportunity and give companies a chance to learn from world-class professionals in the investment community.

Featuring technology companies across three streams, Information Technology, Energy Technology and Life Sciences Technology, the Forum provides emerging technology companies with unparalleled visibility and an opportunity to present to leading private equity and venture capital investors from across North America.

The Forum takes place on September 23rd and 24th at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Last year the Forum hosted in excess of 40 venture capital firms, 37 presenting companies and 360 delegates.
