Banff Venture Forum and Rocket Builders Host Entrepreneur Bootcamp

by Lloyed Lobo | Startups

If you’re a startup who’s unable to attend the Banff Venture Forum, you’ve got to check out the Entrepreneur Bootcamp on October 3 at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.

This one-day boot camp is designed to provide startups with details on fundraising in Western Canada and the US, as well as knowledge on topics such as valuations, deal structures, tips and trends. You also have the opportunity to meet and network with fellow entrepreneurs, investors and advisors who offer you their support for the duration of the Banff Venture Forum conference.

The Bootcamp features a number of interactive sessions, including a venture financing and entrepreneur panel covering the latest investment trends, sector analyses for both VC and Angel financing, and term sheets and valuation; a presentation focusing on "What US VCs Need and Want?"; a practice pitch session with expert panel feedback; and networking with entrepreneurs and venture financing representatives.

It costs $250 to attend (includes breakfast and lunch) and word on the street is that there’s a huge after party.
