BC Advantage Funds gets $1.5 Million in In Motion

BC Advantage Funds announced today the recent closing of a $1.5 Million investment in In Motion Technology Inc.

In Motion is a leader in mobile networking technologies that connect and manage equipment, information and people in the field. In Motion's patented mobile gateway performs seamless sensing, selection and switching to enable mobile applications to operate effectively across multiple wireless networks.

Advantage invested $1.5 Million from its Advantage Growth Fund as part of a $5 Million financing. As part of today's announcement, In Motion announced that Leonard Hordyk, formerly Chief Executive Officer of TIR Systems has joined In Motion as its Chief Executive Officer. TIR Systems was acquired by Philips Electronics in a $75 Million cash transaction in 2007.
