BC Lung Association launches QuitNow

Every year, more than 6,000 British Columbians die from a tobacco-related illness. To make quiting smoking a little easier for British Columbia smokers, the BC Lung Association has just launched a QuitNow website.

Developed in partnership with Smallbox Software, Sung Creative and 6S Marketing, the QuitNow website successfully integrates beautiful graphic design, powerful content management and leveraged social media to deliver an immersive experience for site visitors.

Smokers who want to quit can connect with a plethora of smoking cessation information and resources such as QuitNow Online and QuitNow by Phone.

One cool feature of the site is the innovative QuitNow and Win contest that offers a $5K grand prize to a former smoker who remains tobacco-free for the duration of the contest. Other applications include a Quit Calculator that tallies the savings quiters will enjoy once they are smoke free, and an Addiction Questionnaire that helps quiters determine their level of tobacco addiction and points them to
resources that will help them kick the habit.
