B.C. tech minister replaced by doctor: Will this change B.C.'s tech community?

iain blackIn 2009, the honourable Iain Black was appointed as minister of small business, technology, and economic development.

However, he has now been shuffled by B.C. premier Gordon Campbell back to the labour ministry.

Iain, who has served as president or chief operating officer of both publicly traded and private technology companies, has been replaced by Dr. Margaret MacDiarmid, a family physician of 23 years and a board member for the B.C. Medical Association for 12 years, including a year-long stint as president.

So we ask readers: is this a good thing for B.C.'s tech community?
