Know of someone graduating high school or attending University or College that is interested in a Tech Career? They may qualify to receive a BCTIA BC Technology Scholarship.
The industry-funded program provides non-repayable grants to students who have a proven passion for technology, and who are studying in a variety of areas such as engineering or computer science, marketing, sales, and product development and project management.
For 2009 there are a total of 8 grants available - two $2,500 grants for University or College Students and six $500 grants for Grade 12 graduates.
Interesting parties can apply online - deadline for applications is May 8th.
