Business in Vancouver published their list of B.C.’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies this week and tech companies are very well represented. This year's list includes 41 technology companies - up from 25 last year.
First place was taken by OneMove Technologies with a 43,553% increase in revenue in a given five-year period. Founded in 2002, OneMove's revenue jumped to $1.2 Million last year from a platry $2,800 in 2003.
CounterPath Corp. took the #2 podium spot with a equally impressive 39,383% increase. CounterPath was a fledgling startup back in 2003 when it generated a mere $14,500 in revenue. That revenue total hit more than $5.7 Million in 2007, and the company’s growth curve has continued upward since then. CounterPath reported almost $9.1 Million in revenue in its 2008 fiscal year, which ended April 30th.
