BCTIA looks at Accelerator Programs... do they really work?

Posted by Rob Lewis on 2011-03-16 11:41:00 AM

Google ‘Accelerator Programs’ and over 9 million search results are returned offering everything from online services to mentoring, coaching, funding and office space.

We're bombarded with stories of how California, Israel, China are doing it right. However, we hear little of what’s going on in our own backyard. The Wavefront Accelerator Centre, Waterloo Accelerator Centre, and the Communitech Hub are three Canadian success stories we hear little about.

On April 19th, Wavefront's Jim Maynard, the Waterloo Accelerator's Tim Jackson, and Communitech's Iain Klugman will join BCTIA for a frank discussion on what makes their programs a success and the opportunities they deliver to entrepreneurs.

This accelerator discussion takes place on Tuesday, April 19th at the Sutton Place Hotel from 11:30am - 1:30pm. Register online.
