BCTIA Technology Impact Award Winners Announced

Computer-tracing and data recovery security software company Absolute Software was named Company of the Year at the BCTIA’s 2008 Technology Impact Awards (TIAs) at the Hyatt Regency tonight. The award comes on the heels of a stellar year that saw the company double business, add 90 employees, expand its product portfolio and international reach and win the accolades of analysts for strong performance.

David Sutcliffe, former CEO of Sierra Wireless, won the coveted Bill Thompson award for exemplifying leadership in business and the community. With a technology career that spans 25 years, David has played an instrumental role in developing the wireless data industry.
