The Globe and Mail is reporting that Bell Canada has acquired Montreal's Hypertec Availability Service's data hosting division, a move that expands its hosting services for government and corporate clients. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

According Bell's Stephane Boisvert, the acquisition “builds on our national data hosting services portfolio's ability to deliver secure and reliable mission-critical communications services to government and corporate clients.”
