TechCrunch's MG Siegler let the cat out of the bag yesterday when he reported that Nomadesk had struck a deal with Bell Canada that will see the telco offer its SOHO and SMB customers easy access to Nomadesk’s cloud-storage offering.
Bell Canada customers will be able to share, synchronize, encrypt, backup, and store data on Nomadesk all for $15-a-month per file server. For this fee, an unlimited number of team members will be able to access the data through any computer, and more importantly for this deal, their phones.
Great news for Bell customers and a big deal for Nomadesk as this level of validation by a major telecom provider will be a huge strategic advantage over competitors like Mozy, DropBox & SugarSync.
