While Techvibes reported that Bell Mobility launched their 4G LTE network in Ontario September 14th, the company has also teamed up with Novatel to launch the Canadian market's slimmest and most compact 4G LTE USB modem.

Known as the Novatel Wireless U679 Turbo Stick or the Ovation MC679 USB modem, typical speeds will be between 12 and 25 MB per second, with speeds as high as 75 MB per second, and perhaps 100 MB per second as the platform evolves.

It is also backwards compatible to both Dual Carrier HSPA+ networks offering speeds up to 42 MB per second (typically between 7 and 14) and HSPA+ offering speeds up to 21 MB per second (typically between 3.5 and 8).

If you're in a spotty coverage area, the turbo stick comes with an internal MIMO receive antenna.

The turbo stick is available at Bell Stores for $59.95 on a three-year term or for $199.95 with no term.
