Best Buy also hosting World of Warcraft release party December 6th

Not to be outdone by their Canadian subsidiary, Best Buy has announced that they too will be hosting a World of Warcraft: Cataclysm release party at their stores.

Starting at 9 p.m. on December 6th, fans are encouraged to come dressed in WoW costumes for a chance to win a copy of Cataclysm, as well as an HP AMD Quad Core or Triple Core laptop. As well, the first 50 customers to buy the game will receive a free Steelseries World of Warcraft MMO mouse, and the next 50 will get a free Steelseries WOW Goblin or Worgen mousepad.

Fans who come in costume will also have the opportunity for a WoW photo-op, and see their costumes on the Best Buy Facebook page.

There are two locations taking part in this event:

  • Toronto - 65 Dundas St. West (Bay and Dundas)
  • Vancouver - 2220 Cambie St. (Cambie and 6th Ave)

Good luck, and remember to dress warm; so no dressing up as a night elf skank (unless you want to make everyone in the line very happy).
