BiggerPockets offers Social Networking for the Real Estate Industry

Denver-based BiggerPockets, aimed at new or experienced real estate agents and real estate investors, is a social networking site for real estate, and it has just hit the 25,000 user mark.

BiggerPockets was founded in 2004, and their Social Networking Platform was lauched in early January 2008. They're happy with the quick growth. A former realtor himself, Dorkin wanted to create a networking site designed mainly to educate members: "This is just the latest example of how BiggerPockets has become---in these times of global fiscal crisis--the 'go to place' for anyone and everyone looking for help navigating the often turbulent waters of real estate," says CEO and founder Joshua Dorkin.
