BlackBerry outages occur throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India

Coming on the heels of a global email and BBM outage last month, RIM's BlackBerry suffered yet another outage yesterday.

Throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, email outages occurred yesterday.

RIM issued a statement via email, saying little more than "we are working to resolve an issue currently impacting some BlackBerry subscribers."

Apologising to customers "for any inconvenience," the Waterloo company said it was "investigating" the issue.

While BlackBerrys have experienced occassional outages during over the past few years, RIM's email system is still widely regarded as the most secure in the mobile market.
