Vancouver's own Blast Radius is the latest West Coast digital media company to be bought out by a foreign firm. UK-based WPP has acquired the $50 million, 350 employee company, and will integrate it into its Wunderman marketing services network. According to Wunderman Chairman and CEO Daniel Morel, the Blast Radius acquisition was more about increasing Wunderman's reach than gaining new capabilities.
