Blue Castle Games to become Capcom Games Vancouver

Big news for the Vancouver gaming space out of the Tokyo Game Show yesterday. Capcom revealed plans to purchase the Vancouver's Blue Castle Games.

Capcom has been very vocal about their desire to globalize the company and employ the talents of Western developers.  The purchase of Blue Castle Games will see the studio rechristened as Capcom Games Vancouver.

Japan's Capcom is a leading force in the interactive entertainment industry. Established in 1979, its business encompasses consumer video games for Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft game machines. It boasts one of the most influential and successful R&D operations in the industry; successfully producing platform-defining hit products.
