BrainStation, Konrad Group to Launch in Vancouver

After kicking off in Costa Rica and setting up shop at Communitech in Waterloo, BrainStation and Konrad Group continue to expand their multidimensional operation.

Konrad Group, a tech consultancy that develops digital solutions for clients such as Deloitte and McDonald’s, has been injecting their digital expertise into BrainStation’s curricula.

As Vancouver continues to attract Canadian startups and technology companies, BrainStation’s arrival gives members of the community access to courses and workshops that focus on developing and enhancing digital skills in business, technology, and design that companies like Hootsuite, Mobify, and Unbounce look for in employees.

“Our courses and workshops are often the starting point for entrepreneurs looking to build their idea, professionals looking for digital skills to level up, or people looking to transition into new careers in technology,” explains Saadia Syed, BrainStation who will act as Vancouver’s Community Manager. “Vancouver’s new startups and technology companies will be built by BrainStation graduates, and I’m very excited to play a role in empowering those people.”

But it’s not just tech companies that are focused on improving the digital skills of their organizations. BrainStation has run workshops with companies like retail giant Lululemon. The organization introduced Lululemon’s nontechnical team members to the basics of coding.

“Vancouver is an important location for us as we grow globally because of all the innovative things happening here,” says Duncan McCall, Founder at BrainStation.
