Venture Capital in the Rockies invites investors to attend VCIR Winter 2009 in Beaver Creek, Colorado. The showcase promotes growing companies in the rocky mountain region to venture investors, CEOS, other entrepreneurs, and service professionals. The conference features about twenty pre-qualified presenting companies running the gamut from communications to software to clean tech. Applications for presenters closed at the end of 2008.
VCIR Winter puts a lot of emphasis on networking time (both on and off the slopes); organizers say that the event "isn't just about finding new companies - it's also about connecting with the co-investors, entrepreneurs and service providers who together make the rocky mountain region an excellent location for investing and running companies."
VCIR Winter 2009 runs from March 3rd-March 5th at the Park Hyatt in Beaver Creek, and you can register here. Conference fees run up to $1,095 per person, but attendees snag a free Breaver Creek lift ticket for Thursday, March 5.
