Business Analyst - Alea Software

Alea Software has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing detailed analysis to ensure that product development is aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting business stakeholders with project feasibility assessments and requirements gathering via various interviewing techniques
• Authoring functional and non-functional specifications that drive design, development and QA
• Assessing, writing and managing textual Use Cases
• Working with JAD teams and contributing to effort, difficulty, gap and impact assessments
• Contribute to the design and delivery of front-end applications, 3rd party integrations, back-end solutions and ecommerce applications
• Assessing, documenting and recommending process re-engineering solutions
• Validate that products meet requirements before release
• Contribute to process improvements between departments

Required Education and Skills:

• 5 years experience performing business analysis within a software development life cycle
• Working knowledge of project management concepts; software development life cycle methodologies and best practices
• Strong verbal and written skills with a confident presentation style
• Able to multi-task, meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
