Business Objects Vets Raise $6 Million For Business Analytics Software Startup

Vancouver-based Visier has closed a US $6 million round of financing led by Foundation Capital. Visier is a developer of analytic applications for human resources management.

Visier was co-founded in 2010 by John G. Schwarz (CEO), Ryan Wong (CTO), former CEO and VP of Engineering for the SAP Business Objects respectively.  Visier’s management team also includes Dave Weisbeck (CSO), most recently SVP & GM responsible for Business Intelligence, Enterprise Information Management and Data Warehousing at SAP.

Visier’s mission is to help companies identify important insights about their business and deliver them to human resources decision makers with visualization techniques. Video demo after the jump.
