Calgary's Poynt App selected as Canadian Launch Partner for Windows Phone 7

Calgary's Poynt Corporation (formerly Multiplied Media) announced today that their Poynt Local Search application is available for Windows Phone 7 and was selected as a launch partner in Canada.

"We are very excited to be a Canadian launch partner with Windows Phone 7," said Andrew Osis, CEO, Poynt Corp. "Windows Phone 7 is poised to be a major influence in the mobile handset market and we are proud to offer our award winning local mobile search app for users of this new handset."

Poynt is a free application that connects Windows Phone 7 users to business, movie, retailer, restaurant, and local weather information. The App integrates with the device using click-to-call, click-to-browse, map location and email results to friend in addition to using including some of the unique features of the device including the pivot feature to facilitate toggling between different features and screens.
