Canada's Three Biggest Newsmakers in Tech: 2013 Edition

Newsmakers are the people, companies, events, and circumstances that create the most news over the course of the year.

In 2013, we observed three major newsmakers: the Canadian government's highly touted startup visa program, the constant comparison between Canadian startup hubs and Silicon Valley, and the omnipresent Canadian tech newsmaker, BlackBerry.
