Canadian companies planning to exhibit at the 2011 South by Southwest Interactive conference in Austin will have a leg up from The Maple Leaf Digital Lounge.

The Maple Leaf Digital Lounge will allow companies to connect with potential clients and investors in an intimate, dynamic setting. The Lounge will offer companies a table to exhibit their company, as well as the opportunity to participate in a three-to-five-minute pitch contest judged by live industry representatives as well as event attendees on Twitter. The winner will receive a full booth for free at SxSW Interactive.

The Lounge will be set up at the Paradise Cafe in historic downtown Austin. It’s a co-production from Dynamite Network and Toronto CityEvents. The Maple Leaf Digital Lounge will be set up March 12th and 13th; SxSW Interactive runs from March 11–15th in Austin, Texas.
