Canadian Financing Forum Reveals List of Panelists

Posted by Techvibes NewsDesk

The Canadian Financing Forum is just two weeks away.

Event organizers have revealed the panelists for the event, and if we can judge the forum based on its roster of speakers (and usually that is the case), then this year's CFF promises to be a good one.

Panelists this year include Robert Simon of BDC Venture Capital, Jeff Grammer of Rho Canada Ventures, and Gary Yurkovich of Espresso Capital. Others include Ian Bates of PwC and Clint Bybee of ARCH Venture Partners.

In terms of keynote speakers, joining Mike Kwatinetz of Azure Capital and Paul Singh of 500 Startups is innovation expert William Whurley, who is an open source advocate, systems theorist, and cofounder of Chaotic Moon Studios.

In his keynote, the so-called "whurley" will cover the area most ripe with opportunities for innovation; the fringe. All things exciting happen on the fringe, and the cross pollination of ideas is a prerequisite for anyone who wishes to truly innovate.

The Canadian Financing Forum provides the setting for entrepreneurs to build relationships with leading venture capitalists and corporate investors. The forum features presentations from Canada's most promising technology companies, as approximately 30 technology companies compete for the attention of top tier investors from across Canada and the United States.
