Yona Shtern Named Keynote Speaker of Upcoming Canadian Financing Forum
Next year marks the 16th anniversary of the Canadian Financing Forum (CFF), Western Canada's premier access to capital event.
The CFF returns to Vancouver's Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel on February 21 and has been expanded to include 1.5 days of company presentations, premium networking and panel sessions.
The CFF will welcome the who's who of the venture community and showcase Canada's top tech companies across two streams: information technology and cleantech.
Today, event organizers announced that Beyond the Rack's Yona Shtern will be joining GoInstant's Ben Yoskovitz as a keynote speaker. Shtern is the cofounder and CEO of Beyond the Rack.
The company was named the fastest growing e-tailer in North America by Internet Retailer Magazine in 2011 and third fastest growing private company in Canada for 2012 by Profit Magazine. Launched in 2009, Beyond the Rack has grown exponentially with eight million consumer members, 5,000 brand partners, 400 employees, annual sales in excess of $200 Million, and over $60 Million in funding.
The CFF is currently accepting presenting company applications, so if you're looking to showcase your tech startup (you don't need to be in active fundraising mode) then the CFF is the must attend event for early 2013. General delegate early-bird pricing is available until December 21st, so register now. There is also a limited number of tickets available for startups at a discounted price. Contact the organizers if you're interested in taking advantage of the offer.
