In anticipation of the Canadian Innovation Exchange (CIX) annual forum, the CIX Top 20 companies were revealed in Toronto last night. The finalists, chosen by a selection committee of industry experts, were hand-picked from a list of companies from across the country and will be featured in live showcases at CIX’s annual event to be held on November 27th in Toronto.
CIX 2012 features interactive sessions led by some of Canada’s top business leaders, investors and entrepreneurs in information and communication technology and digital media. Occurring annually, the event helps connect entrepreneurs to key players in technology-based industries from Canada and around the world.

An exciting addition to this year’s event is CIX’s partnership with Toronto-based CrowdLinker and BlackOptek which have collaboratively created a virtual stock exchange for CIX 2012. Using this special tool, attendees can – in real time – buy and sell virtual shares of the Top 20 companies at CIX 2012.
