flip HDWith the sleek simplicity of an iPod and the potency of a much bigger device, Cisco's new line of Flip Video cameras are sure to impress.

The new UltraHD and MinoHD feature more personalization and sharing abilities, as well as improved HD video quality and lower prices.

“This is without question the best line of Flip Video cameras we’ve ever created,” said Jonathan Kaplan, senior vice president and general manager of Cisco Consumer Products. “The new line combines Flip’s signature simplicity and affordability with truly breakthrough video quality, unlimited personalization options, and an array of creative new accessories – all of which add up to more fun, and an even better video experience for our consumers.”

Both the Ultra and Mino versions have 4 GB and 8 GB options (or 1 and 2 hours or recording time). The Ultra starts at $160, while the Mino starts at $190. All models can shoot high-res (1280x720) video at 60 frames per second and image stabilization is a default feature.

Personalization is big on all Flip models, as users can choose from an ever-growing library of thousands of unique designs, browsable by a variety of categories. The image to the right is a fairly reserved design called "Carbon Fibre," but there are many wildly flashy and vibrantly colourful concepts to choose from.
