Carving a niche, Toronto's Loote* is a group deals site focused on small businesses

Carving a niche for itself, Toronto's Loote* is a new weekly deals group-buying website that focuses on delivering steeply discounted, branded promotional products to small businesses.

By buying a minium quantity order (35 to 100 usually), small businesses (or anyone really) can get big discounts (50 to 70 percent typically) off promotional products like tote bags and memo boards.

New deals arise weekly and every item includes a brief YouTube video demonstrating the product. Businesses can add their logo to any item and see how it will look before placing the order.

Backed by a two-decade-old promotional products company, Loote* has a strong foundation and a neat idea tha should differentiate it quite well from other group-buying startups.
